Hi, I got a 5155 but no video on the internal monitor.
So far I've gathered this information:
- Machine will boot just fine off a composite external monitor. No problems with the CGA card or motherboard.
- Absolutely no picture or signs of life from the screen of the tube
- Brightness and Contrast maxed and pots tested....there is no problem here.
- 12V is present off P12 when connected to the CRT
- CRT filament is glowing
- I can hear the 15.7KHz whine
- Anode cap appears wet?? I can get pics in a little while.
My prediction is that its either a problem from the CGA card to the mainboard(ie...my Apple II monitor won't display anything without a signal either)....or that the anode cap isn't connected/bad connection as there would be no way to get the electrons flung at the screen. Where can I go from here?
