I bought one of the IBM PS/2s new in box and my floppy drive seems to have failed. It's posting an error 601 and the actuator motor is getting unusually hot. System runs well otherwise... If I cannot find a donor floppy drive, does anyone want this thing for parts? I'd like to get some of my original investment back... Keyboard and monitor are not for sale.
Here's a list of what's good;
Complete system housing w/ keys (brand new!!)
Maxtor 314 MB full-height ESDI HDD w/cables and controller
Logic board
2 MB RAM card
Power supply
Original manuals, reference disk, and "tour" disk. I have two of these packages!
If you bought one of these systems, you can add the HDD and memory to your system.
