I was contacted last week by a gentleman that has an IBM System 32 that he needs to get rid of. It was purchased by his father in the 70's and was recently put in a storage unit. He wants the information on the hard drive recovered but I told him it was doubtful that the drive would work given how old the unit is. If that isn't possible, he wants to remove the drive for nostalgia.

Condition he described is as follows:

The display that sits on top of the unit is missing. Everything else is there.

He plans to send it to the recyclers soon if no one is interested.
