IBM ThinkPad 755CX Audio Update

Hallo,

I recently bought a ThinkPad 755cx. According on ThinkWiki it should have a DSP module for audio (IBM mWave), but seems that mine doesn't have it.
If I run diagnostics by pressing F2 at startup, the voice "DSP" is not selectable and also I don't see any output for eadphones or input for microphone on the left side of the laptop.

I would like to update it, it is possible to mount the sound card of the Thinkpad 755C model?

If not, what would you suggest?

The ThinkPad 755C and 755CX have entirely different planar/motherboards and sound capabilities, the 755CX having the option of an Mwave DSP-based daughtercard (not all 755CX having that).

I think by updating software you problem will be sort out if not I think you have to replace the Socket or Sound card or vice versa which is some how costly but first install driver some time you have problems in your audio device (Speaker) so check this too.
