Is this real? A C65 on ebay..

It is real and price is already going sky-high..
Only about 150 of these 'prototype' machines have been built.

Yea. Its already on 10K Euro. If I only had 20K for some toy shopping.. but that is probably not enough this time.

Hmm.. not real after all ? Seller has removed the item because of an 'error' ... hmmm...

I know the seller, he is active and respected in the Commodore community. The auction was completely genuine but it got pulled as the circumstances changed.

That's the email that I've got from him:
"Dear buyer,

I would like to thank you for participating in my auction for Commodore 65. As it turned out, I managed to fix the disk drive today so I do not want to sell the computer as damaged. I might sell the computer later on as fully working, in which case a new auction with a new description will be necessary.

Thank you for your understanding and I hope you get some other nice Commodore gear for Christmas :)
"
So we may still be able to buy it at later date.
A fully funcional C65 wow!

it'll will affect it, as the assumption was it was the drive controller logic on the main-board that had the fault, not the floppy mechanism, meaning you could not load and save anything.
