Just got TRS-80 MIII & M4 and 1000

I've just received a TRS-80 Model III, a Model 4, and a Tandy 1000.
Haven't turned anybody on yet.
I'm plowing through the existing threads, but any important advice I might have missed, like, "Replace cap 101 or it will blow and destroy your house!!", ya know, mildly important stuff.

This will be my first excursion into the Tandy world, any general advice?

I'm not sure about your Model 4, but I need to replace somethink on mine. I had it plugged in testing BASIC and something blew. I'm pretty sure it was a cap, and don't know where you found these because I used to service mine regularly, so I'd look them over first. Did you also happen to find a five meg disk drive? I've got one and the key is locked to start it, it's long gone since '83.

You should open up the Model 4 just to give it a look over. I cracked mine open today and the damage wasn't bad. It never hurts to view the insides of old computers when it comes to function.
