I'm looking for the reload/recovery disks for the Kaypro PC (these are different from the Kaypro 16 reload disks).
These are distinctive as they have a few utilities to handle the Kaypro Realtime Clock implementation (SETRTC.COM, SETDOS.COM) and WD1002-HD0 MFM Disk Controller (HDSET.COM).
I've got an early Kaypro PC that had DOS 2.11 preloaded, along with a stripped-down copy of the Kaypro Menu, and said utilities above. This one has a Seagate ST-225 MFM hard drive, along with the WD1002-HD0 MFM controller, and a mystery Kaypro 8-bit ISA to 40pin (SASI?) adapter card that plugs into the WD1002-HD0. There's also a realtime-clock chipset integrated into the main backplane. It's also got a Hercules-clone video card which appears original to the machine as well.
I'm sure this is one of the earliest Kaypro PC's (I've got a newer one that uses a contemporary WD1002A-WX1 8-bit ISA MFM controller card and an ATI Graphics Solution v3 video card.)
Normally, I'd take a backup copy of the hard drive, but in this case it's sadly rapidly failing.
Anyone happen to have an original set disks by any chance?
