Can someone tell me if there was ever a user's manual supplied with the Mac 512K, or did Apple just figure it was all pretty much self explanatory?
(I didn't see anything on Bitsaver's)

I'll reply to my own post seeing no one else has. :)

They did have a manual for the Macintosh 512K.
I was printed in 1984, and has tons of info in it.

I found it inside the Imagewriter II box under it's manual.
Why it wasn't in the Mac box, I don't know.
I've had the stuff for a year, and never opened the boxes.
Smart like a dump truck.

There was also an introductory cassette tape packaged with those original Macs as well.

I take it then, a copy for the 128/512k model is not on the web anywhere?

(from someone who hopes to own a Mac 128 some day)

I never found one on the web, or on Ebay for that matter.
If a copy really isn't out there somewhere, then I guess "one day" I'll have to scan the damn thing.
There was stuff in that manual that I didn't even know a Mac could do.
It even accepts a date of 3/15/11 too !
