I found a few of these MCA adapters in a small box of MCA cards I bought a few days ago and am curious about these and have been looking for information on them. They appear to be 16/4 Token Ring adapters however from what I can tell there seems to be more to them than that, though I could be wrong. Any information on these would be appreciated as I am interested in the specifics of these cards and their uses, assuming I'm not wrong and they aren't just normal TR adapters :lol:
 
So from what I've read it is in fact just a Smart 16/4 token ring adapter, however it also appears to be similar to the IBM LANstreamer in that it offers at least 40Mb/sec streaming.
