Hello,

I have a yellowed front bezel from a computer tower and I wish to mail it to a pro for Retr0brighting. Although I'm in Alaska, the bezel itself is a small and lightweight item, so it should be pretty cheap to send in. The front bezel is not very yellowed, but it has a "patchy" look. The subject in the photo is the actual piece I want done. A beauty, isn't it?

I just found someone on Ebay who does de-yellowing, but I'm still open for someone here to help too.

Got a Sally Beauty Supply anywhere near you?

Just buy some volume 30/40 developer liquid (not the gel), pour it into a tub that will fit the front panel and submerge it out in the sun for a few hours.

I'm afraid of messing up cause I have no experience. I'd rather pay an expert to do it.

It's really hard to mess up pouring peroxide into a tub and putting it out in the sun.

If you're afraid of the "marbled" appearance from botched retr0brite attempts, it is quite literally not possible to happen using straight peroxide.

If you're still looking, I may have two or three of these exact faceplates/bezels. I'd even be willing to just swap/trade you if mine are exactly the same and don't look as bad - then there's no rush on me getting it retr0brighted (I typically try and wait until I have a bunch of lined up and do it in batches).
