With my HxC up and running well, I wanted to take some of my tinkering on the road. I've managed to get MESS working with the Model II ROMs and a P&T floppy image but I've run into an interesting issue. While I can read an IMD with no problem, I cannot seem to read a floppy image (raw, dsk, imd) that I convert from a formatted HFE in the HxC...
Any thoughts?
What it's telling me is "FATALERROR: Device 8" double density double sided floppy drive load failed: Unable to identify the image format"
I couldn't seem to find a way to create a blank 8" image so I created this one by taking an IMD converted to HFE, booted my P&T and formatted the other HFE. I wonder if I have to take a working CPM floppy image and just erase everything off of it to leave the existing format intact?
