So there are two revisions of Midiman MM401 ISA card, that use non compatible ROM versions.
The first version of the card has horizontal chip layout, and no empty socket. It appears to use a sliding switchblock for jumpers.
This is first version of the card, and can use the 1.15 ROM from http://www.minuszerodegrees.net/rom/rom.htm
The second version of the card has horizontal cpu and vertical oriented rom + ram and two empty sockets (one for ram, one for opto isolator).
This version cant use 1.15 rom. Mine came with 1.10 rom.
Version 1 card, v1.15 bios reads;
Version 2 card, v1.10 bios reads;
(I dont know if adding another ram chip + opto will enable the second set of midi in/out, I dont know if the BIOS is capable of it).
To my knowledge, there never was a dual port Midiman MM401 with two sets of midi in/out.
