I've had a few Model 4's and there is always a good dark scuff somewhere that I can't remove. I've tried simple green, alcohol, dish soap, magic erasers, all with only moderate success.
My most recent one had really large black dark marks all over it... some sort of rubber or paint from banging around in a cart or something.
Last night I tried acetone on a CLEAN paper towel.
Every single scuff and mark was removed! It looks brand new! The is an incredible difference and it did not effect the texture at all.
Just keep it away from the keyboard and the badge on the front, as well as any ink stamps or stickers underneath.
