Hi,

I have two apple monitors that needs complete de-yellowing:

- 9inch green monochrome monitor used for //c (RCA).

- 12 or 13inch color monitor (applecolor RCA version not composite).

they are badly in need of de-yellowing and would like to tear down these monitors without breaking or zapping myself. If anybody could provide me with some help tips or even a pdf on teardown, i would greatly appreciate it. thanks in advance.

New problem with the Apple colormonitor iic (A2M4043).

last night i turned on the iigs and the monitor and noticed that there is no color output on the screen its all b/w. I haven't tore it down as of yet so this problem is most recent. Just to eliminate problem areas, i hooked up the iigs to my color lcd and it is showing color, so its definitely the monitor. Anybody know what could be the problem? I have adjusted all knobs on the monitor to no avail. thanks in advance.

I remember my IIe monitor having a button to toggle between color and B&W, does this one have a button as well that you might have inadvertently hit?

^^ There is a pushbutton on the front of the monitor and I guess it was sticky or dirty but I sprayed it with some WD40 and push it in and out a few times, and the color is back online! thanks!
