MS-DOS 3.30. Check memory in 5150.

Is there any way to check installed memory in a 5150 using MS-DOS 3.30?

I've let the 5150 boot into BASIC. It gives 62x kb so I'm presuming it has 640 kb

Ah yes chkdsk worked.

Had great "fun" fiddling with the DIP switches on the 5150. Wasn't sure if I'd set them right.

Would it be the BASIC loaded into memory?

CHKDSK shows 655360 bytes.

= 640 kb

Forgot to say there is an AST SixPakPlus in the 5150

Cassette basic can only access a maximum of 64k so don't assume that.

E.g.

Think Xbox Live circa 2007, Mountains of Soda cans, Lan partys, and bad username decisions...

it's something that's just stuck with me. I have forever since had to wear my "it's not pink it's lightish red" T-SHirt to land partys for the last 10+ years.
