Multicards for ISA (what are the common features?)

On a normal machine you are right, but it is a A2286 Bridgeboard with only 3 ISA slots, normally 1x16Bit 2x8Bit but my board has 3x16Bit. That makes this a bit harder.

The D-Sub connector (a DA-15) on early 10MBit ethernet cards is called an "Attachment Unit Interface" (AUI). It's used to connect to 10Base5 (Thick Ethernet) connections.

You can AUI tranceivers with RJ45 jacks as well as other purposes

Hey, @dr.zeissler, another thought to your problem is to get an ISA riser card to get more available slots, though this presents a challenge if you're trying to keep your computer in its case.
