I don't know where else to post for help with a vintage laser printer, but I need to find a replacement fuser for my 1992 workhorse EPSON EPL-7000 laser printer.

It's been a great machine for cranking out cheap B&W pages and I can't afford the $200+ cost that EPSON charges for a NOS part.:(

Any ideas for other places to look? Can a fuser be repaired?
Thanks.

Search Ebay. I see some reman toner units for ~$40

Thanks but wrong part.
I need a FUSER assembly and there are none on Ebay.

This is a 19 yr old printer that has worked flawlessly, until now, so I would like to fix it, but I can't find a spare part yet.

Isn't the fuser one of the most expensive parts? You'll probably be better off buying a new used printer

The fuser IS expensive if new, but I was hoping on the slim chance that I might find a salvageable one to install in mine...

If I can't fix it then I'll just by a new laser Printer.
The Epson i have now has been a good dependable printer, except it needs the fuser.
