Corsham Technologies now has an SS-30 serial board with a USB connector. This is only of interest to those with SS-30 (SWTPC, GIMIX) systems, but provides a more modern interface to those older systems.
Basic features:
* 68B50 to support either 1 MHz or 2 MHz operation.
* Fully software compatible with older 6850 based board (MP-S).
* On-board baud rate generator, jumper select for 1200, 2400, 4800 or 9600 baud.
* USB B connector on top edge to connect with your computer.
* USB A-to-B cable included.
* Available fully assembled or as a board with just the surface mounted parts installed.
* Uses FTDI interface chip which is widely supported by most OSes.
* FTDI part is powered from USB; port stays alive when SS-50 system is powered down.
