Olivetti M280 keyboard error 8.

Hello,
I thought it would be easy to find info about this error but I cannot find anything. Does anybody knows what error 8 means during keyboard bootstrap on early Olivetti computers?
The keyboard seems rightly initialized but it does work.

what is the Keyboard Model please?

I've tried with a working Olivetti M24 one. DB9 connector with only the upper 5 pins.

Believe that this is the problem as the Keyboard from the M24 (XT) won´t work on the M280. You have to search for an Keyboard with the Modell Nr. ANK25-101 or ANK25-102

If you don't have Olivetti AT keyb with DE-9 check the keyboard pinout PDF here https://forum.vcfed.org/index.php?threads/any-info-on-olivetti-m250.1242348/post-1305693 and connect any PS/2 to it

Thank you to both. I thought the M280 is still XT. I have an ANK25-101. In am in a job trip but I am going to try as soon as I get back.

Now I look for the setup disk to configure the HDU.
The FDD is not connected so this second error is "normal".
