Original Tandy 1000 (BIOS 01.00.001) machine on eBay

Well, the "buy it now" price is only ten times what I payed for my mint complete 1000SX with a 44 meg RLL drive, CM-11 display, and a Commodore Plus 4 thrown in "because".

That is neither rare, nor low serial number, nor even really special. Anyone who'd drop a grand on that is a moron.

Special... in the same way some Olympics are.

Seriously, where do people come up with these prices, and are there really drooling halfwits who drop that type of cash on these things?!?
