Osborne computers and parts for sale in Orange, CA

I was contacted by Gary Berg about selling his late fathers Osborne computer systems and parts.

His father was a local Osborne computer repair guy in Orange County, CA, but not employed by Osborne.
During his time, he acquired hundreds of spare parts, and bought even more when Osborne went out of business.

Because of this, he has lots of parts, some brand new, never used.

This includes floppy drives, motherboards, keyboards, software, manuals, magazines, and even entire computers in the box, never opened.
Almost entirely Osborne 01 and 01a related. Some Executive parts.

I can go back and look at stuff, but it is 20 miles away.
Most will eventually go on eBay, unless you get there first. Yes, they will ship.

That's a hell of a collection, indeed. Do you know what he's charging for individual working Osbornes? I don't mind driving up from San Diego.

Bad news is flooding ebay with all this at one time will definitely drive the prices down.

Good news, a lot of that stuff looks to be absolutely pristine!

I spoke with Gary's mother. She is asking $700 for the NIB Osbornes. I can't recall ever seeing NIB units on eBay so I don't know what to compare it to, but it's certainly well above my price range. Best of luck to her though, I'm sure it can't be easy for her going through her late husbands things.
