Hi all,

I'd like to see if anyone has ever dumped the PROMs on the PDP-11/70's M8123 RAC card. I've started the laborious process of transcribing the microcode firmware as listed in the M8123 engineering drawings (drawing number D-CS-M8123-0-1), but this is obviously tedious and error prone, and if it already exists in machine-readable form I'd rather have that for obvious reasons!

The microcode is very similar to the microcode of the M8103 as seen in the PDP-11/45, but distinct. Plus, it uses 17 256x4 PROMs instead of 16, the extra 4 bits being used for floating point control. They're IC's E99, E94, E93, E89, E91, E120, E119, E121, E122, E114, E112, E110, E113, E105, E103, E101, and E123 (not necessarily in that order -- part numbers on the drawings are impossible to read, the scan is poor).

They don't appear to be on Bitsavers, but maybe they're out there somewhere?
