I'm trying to fix a dead PET 64 (aka Pet 4064). It's basically a c64 in PET clothing and was offered to schools back in 1982/83. I believe the power is all good. 4.97vdc and 8.97vac.
I get a good reset signal at the processor, but as far as I can tell I'm not getting any pulsing on any of the lines so there is maybe something bad with the clock circuit. The clock circuit is quite complex and I'm not exactly sure where to start. The easiest thing would be to find another c64 motherboard and just replace it (or use that board for further testing).
Anyway, if anyone has any pointers, or a spare c64 breadbin motherboard i'd love to hear from you.
cheers
Phil
