The paper mills are already starting to stink, it's too early. We need more snow ! (And 5153's, I might add)

I used Norton Ghost as long as I was using Windows98SE and earlier. Never had any luck with the version of Ghost that was supposed to work with XP. It put all the info back in the partition, but it wouldn't boot. Also, the boot cd version of Ghost was just painfully slow to start. Still have a bunch of Ghost images floating around but all are Win98 and lower.

On the other hand, Acronis boots quickly and supports USB and firewire devices. It supports FAT, NTFS, ext2 and ext3 (and other linux file systems), and a restored image of XP boots without fuss or muss.
