I'm no Pollie, but I think the Australian Public are playing blind. The
Internet I think is the next big thing when it comes to information
resources, I mean I was quite suprised what information is out there.

If any Australian are reading this - I urge them to do your homework
before next election. Look up Labor, Liberal, etc, etc websites to see what
they are planning. Some of the Liberal issues for instance in documents
on pollicies are clouded & even some contradiction are outstanding on
their policies.

Reason I say people should do their homework, is so they are properly
prepared for election time. Each party has a website & documents of
policies are available. Like Johnny Howard said last election "Who do you
trust?" is merely upto you. However, the answers in policy making needs
to be clearly defined - people should vote for the party which will provide
the best outcome for themselves.

I think for the battler/unemployed, a vote for Liberal will be the worst
case scenario - clearly there's a distriction between the upper class & the
battler which needs to be addressed, public schools need their funding,
medical funding between Public & Private needs to be altered to provide
more into the Public sector (everyone deserves proper treatment). To me
environment also should be addressed, better protection for our remnant
plants. I'm not trying to hint at any one party (by all means), but try &
point out what the possible issues are in society.

The biggest urge I must point out at election time is Pollies highlight all
these policies - which is all just fat & meat to make them look good. The
problems with these policies (which is highlighted in the Constition) is
these policies are merely talk - the argument for this is "Situation's
change" which pollies have used on many occassions.

But please do your homework cause the information & research is out
there. Don't vote for the big parties if their policies don't ring true,
unfortunately these documents aren't totally clear, which (unlike Acts) can
be decieving.
