  • From now on we will require that a prefix is set for any items in the sales area. We have created regions and locations for this. We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

After starting working for my father a few weeks previous, I uncovered a few old terminals and keyboards, on first glance I knew they were worth something to someone, and after doing some research online I found very few of them for sale anywhere, except one on eBay which had just sold for £250. These are now listed on eBay, there details are the following;

WYSE WY-120 Terminal *working* x1
Tested with keyboard, powers on, crt works with a white colour, buttons on right hand side operational.
Powered on, tube working fine along with all buttons and tested with keyboard

WYSE WY-120 Terminal *not working* x1
fails to turn on, not an expert so couldn’t make a guess as to why it isn’t working anymore.
Tested and it powers and the crt tube attempts to turn on and does momentarily before turning of, so my guess is it needs a tube replacement!

Each of these would be a brilliant piece of early computing history to own, as most are owned by collectors who don’t want to sell, or have been destroyed and thrown away years ago! They would also make for a really satisfying restoration project for anyone looking to bring the past back to life! These items are very rare at the moment, and will only get more rare as time goes on, get them while you can!
