Replacement Cases for Model 1's

Has anybody come up with a way to create a new case for the trs80 model 1? I have gotten several that have smashed cases beyoud repair.

I started on a 3d printed replacement but haven’t had the time to finish it. One of these days…
 
Know what you mean thought I had this machine done then found out the break key didnt work. Now Struggling to get the key out.

Not that you asked, but is it the sealed kb or the one where you can lift the key caps off? The latter was notorious for getting solder breaks and a quick reflow would fix them.

So, in the photo, those switches did not work, *until* I reflowed the solder and then all was ok. Many others will report a similar story. Again, with the kb where the caps can be removed. Yours may be shot as you say, but if you have that kind of keyboard, it is worth reflowing the solder on the underside before having to remove them.
