Ah... I was unaware of the 22M before. What an odd product - I guess if you want to save cabinet space and money on drives and media, it makes sense, but you obviously lose the ability to read/write/exchange data with "standard" machines.
AED did a similar odd thing with the 5" version of the WINC05 controller. It has a unique on-disk format. There was some discussion of making it RX50 compatible, but there wasn't space in the 8X105 sequencer to add a second sector format.
Hopefully, I can get a board from glitch to compare to my 22. I'm a little worried since my board has different microcode and boot prom but the pictures in the brochure shows the same prom set between the 22 and 22M
