Ripping CP/M disks with a 1571 drive, PC, and ZoomFloppy

Hi all,

I have a bunch of CP/M disks that are withering away and wanted to get them backed up using my PC, trusty 1571 drive, and the ZoomFloppy.

Are there any PC programs out there that can just rip the disk to an image?
I'd like to use my SD2IEC to try them out on my C128.

Has anyone tried this? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I like to use cbmXfer, but I don't have zoomfloppy so I don't know how compatible it is with it.

My choice is to use it with X cable and trusted old win xp laptop with parallel port.

It works great for standard Commodore disks, but I'm having trouble with getting CP/M disks imaged with the 1571.
I tried CBMXfer and as expected, it doesn't recognize that format. I'd love to see it recognize that format so I can image them to use on the C128.

because CP/M disks are in MFM format not C='s GCR , I remember there is somewhere a program for C128 that transfers cp/m disk images to C218 (via 1571, can read both formats), but not the opposite.. there was a program on Compute that may help you about this task.. https://archive.org/details/1987-07-compute-magazine/page/82/mode/2up?view=theater

Thanks! A bit of searching and I've found a location that it's already been typed in - not sure if it works yet, but I'll check it out ASAP.

This may get me closer to the goal - at least I can copy the disks, etc. I still need to figure out how to image them for PC use.

I'll attach the file - if it's not working I'll delete it once I know.
