Hello everyone,

I've recently come into possession on a Signetics 2650 CPU and want to build some of the projects as featured in old issues of Electronics Australia. Looking through, I have almost all of the parts, the only part I appear to be missing is the PIPBUG ROM. Looking through datasheets I can see it's a mask programmable 1k*8 ROM, and i think I may have found an assembly listing for it, but I'm not 100% sure.

http://bitsavers.trailing-edge.com/pdf/signetics/2650/Application_Memo_M20_-_PIPBUG_April_1979.pdf This is the document with assembly code and it looks like it should be the listing, but I'm not well versed in assembly language and have no way of compiling it.

Is anyone aware of a ROM dump as a hex file anywhere or even any pointers on compiling the possible listing even by hand if necessary?

Thanks, Mike

Even though I don't have any 2650 systems, I took a look a the site you mentioned.

Very well presented and as Llamarama says, its a treasure trove of information.

Glad you made it known here. Thanks and to both of you, welcome to VCF.
