Scsi st-277n interleave etc settings

I mean the screen where it is prompting you for the interleave option; I've never seen a SCSI format utility that does that!

Later versions of the Seagate ST02's BIOS are at [here].
If I look in version 3.2 of the BIOS, I see what I presume is what the OP is seeing:

Looking back through the posts, you have an XT-FDC in the computer.
And you are now adding a SCSI controller that includes FDC functionality.
That suggests an FDC conflict.
Any change if you remove the XT-FDC ?

No change. The card on stason is slightly different than mine. I think I've worked out the jumpers
