Hi,
I've got a vintage T47 Portable Programming Terminal (386 laptop) or Data General Walkabout SX that can not boot from HDD. It boots DOS from FDD perfectly.
This laptop requires an external SETUP program to specify the HDD parameters among other settings like old IBM stuff. Of course the original battery was totally empty and the HDD is not recognized anymore since the SETUP data is gone. Unfortunately there is not auto-detecting routine during the POST.
I will appreciate if somebody share a copy of this program. According with external forums, it is needed only a DOS executable file named setup.com
Thanks!!!
