parts
1) EDE1188/P the keyboard encoder
3) ?-64 keys
40 OPTIONAL speaker for beep noise
the keyboard has 2 chips,up to 64 key interface, has a 4Khz 45 milisecond square wave (its a beep noise when ever a key is pressed), and has serial or 8 bit parralel.the only problem is find 64 keys to make it.connect the keys to the collums and rows of the IC and connect it a peripherial device such as a
z80a PIO on the data bus.You need to program the PIO accordingly though. You only need the 7 bits on the EDE1188/P because of the key count.
