Hello,
I just bought a Dell Optiplex GX1 to mess around with. I am currently working on connecting it to the internet, but when I am able to, I want to participate in the "Old Web". https://wiby.me/ is a website that searches only through early internet websites, mostly html1 stuff, but also through new websites that are designed like they would be in the 90's. I can code HTML (Just like every other human with half a brain), and I would like to make a website that fits the 90's aesthetic. Do any of you know any kind of web hosting service that is really really simple? I'm not too familiar with how they worked way back then, but it can't be much like the ones they have today can it? Ideally, I would want to be able to use the website for their service on my W98 machine- that's actually really important. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark Robuck
