Hi Guys,
I'm currently building a Homebrew Z80 computer from RetroBrew Computers. It's an ECB based system with a backplane , Z80 processor and Color VDU.
My intention is to bring an old Sord Color Monitor model DP-14CF back into service for this project but it has an unusual video input socket,below;

It is similar to a scart connector. Not much information available on the net for the Sord Computer as a whole but thought i would put my question out there.
Does anyone have pinout details for this connector?
Any information on this monitor would be helpful.
Thanks,
Nik

Are you sure that it has 10 pins?, the 8-pin connector is commonly used in japanese monitors:

Where:

  1. Sometimes GND/Hue control/+12V input
  2. Red
  3. Green
  4. Blue
  5. GND
  6. GND
  7. HSYNC
  8. VSYNC
  9. GND

Maybe its pinout is close to the above one?

I know I'm almost 18 months late... but if you still need this info, the Sord monitor pinout (as used in the DUH14C) is:

1 - N/C
2 - Red
3 - Green
4 - Blue
5 - Ground
6 - Ground
7 - HSync
8 - VSync

So the same as jltursan has said. The monitor itself is 15.75 kHz horizontal, 60 Hz vertical.
