Hello everyone, I have the above monitor, however in storage it's developed a strange fault. I turn it on and I can hear the flyback squeal as normal, then the screen will emit a dull glow, the pitch of the squeal dips considerably and the power led dims, but does not go out. This cycles after between 5 and 10 seconds. I'm at a bit of a loss as to what the fault could be.
I have the schematics and all the caps look good, I believe the flyback is putting out at least something as I had to discharge the screen before delving further.
I'm highly reluctant to scrap the screen as it's a green screen with no screenburn and they're like hens teeth around here, I haven't SEEN another one, let alone seen one for sale. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
