Found one at the recycler (no PS), doesn't look like the main battery has burst and it is clean. Why does Tandy use center - instead of center + on the power adapter, now I have to look for something to power it up with.

Look for a Manhattan universal power adapter. It allows you to switch between + or - tip Polarity. And voltages all the way down to 5 volts I think. Thats what I use with my Toshiba 1100+. I got mine for $29.95 :p

I found an old Apple printer power brick at the recycler today, 1.5A 9.5V center negative. The unit powers up now fine, but the drive belt on the 720K floppy needs replaced (old one melted too goo).
