Tandy 1400LT

I really like the Tandy 1400LT but the fact that you can't install a regular sound card is really annoying. Is there a sound card that someone has developed that will fit in the Tandy's 1400LT expansion slots? Or is there another method of getting sound onto it?

At some point in the past I remember parallel port sound cards being a thing. What specs from the machine they required and the fact that your 1400 has a "standard" LPT port (if it has one at all) may be limiting factors however. I'd suspect they may be a little tough to find and pricey if you do find one

I have a 1400LT and can confirm that a replica Covox Speech Thing works just fine. Sadly, not the same as an AdLib. =(
