Just a thread to discuss my old Toshiba T2130-CT.

Bought this in the early 2000s from a second hand computer shop.
Primarily to use to type up essays for university (college).

Originally running Win95 on 8mb RAM and a 500MB HDD, upgraded this to 16mb and 1GB HDD.

Was dual booting WFW 3.11 for a while, with Office 4.3. Unfortunately this version of office doesn't have autosave, so any system crash and bye bye unsaved essay!

I used a Parallel port zip drive to install OSs/applications and keep documents. The university computer lab machines all had zip drives, so this was quite handy (long before USB sticks were the norm).

I've ran the following OSs on it too:
- OS/2 Warp 4
- NT 3.5.1 (wish I still had the installer for this, could run Office 97 and so still be a very useful tool)

Gaming I've ran PGA Golf, Alex Higgins Snooker, Civilisation, Windows Entertainment Pack etc.

Networking it had a 3com PCMCIA card which I used to ethernet onto the network. IE5 on WFW 3.11 and Win95.

I picked up a broken T2130CS for spares, grabbed a few plastics such as the PCMCIA cover, and the worn mouse nipple.

I'll upload pictures of it at the weekend.

Anyone got any of these, any useful mods?
Or any other anecdotes?

Thank you :)
