I have a IBM Model 5155 Portable Personal Computer with 256KB on the motherboard and a 256KB 8-bit ISA bus memory expansion card from Turner Hall Publishing. The RTC chip is the NEC uPD1990AC but I didn't have a driver, and couldn't find one searching the Internet, so I decoded the IO bus logic and wrote a program to set/read the RTC.
The project is on Github:

I also have the Glitch Works XT-IDE controller (which is awesome) and a Western Digital WD8003W 10Base-T Ethernet card. Every once in a while, I ftp something just to make sure it's still working.
