As those of you who follow the classiccmp mailing list may have noticed, there is another exciting QBus project unfolding as we speak. The product could be likened to a sort of QBus development board and would essentially let you emulate (for want of a better word) practically any QBus adapter - even several at a time. Here is a post describing the design. The specs go much further than anything I'd ever envisioned putting together:
For the time being I'm going to carry on tinkering with my own little MSCP controller project, but that may change depending on how this other project pans out.
- 166MHz Coldfire Processor
- Cyclone III FPGA
- 32 MB RAM
- 4 MB flash
- Ethernet support
