I have a computer for playing older games that runs Windows 98SE, but the audio doesn't work in DOS mode.

An ISA sound card seems to be the answer, but the motherboard doesn't have any ISA slots.

I've seen these adapters/converters online, but have any of you used one and will they support a sound card under DOS?

If you're talking about the USB2ISA from ARS Tech, there aren't any DOS drivers.

What sound card are you using? There are some PCI sound cards with support for DOS mode (Ensoniq AudioPCI and Sound Blaster 16/128 PCI for example).
