Value: Sol-20 ?

Certainly sounds cool. I can't recall what price I saw last though.. I'm guessing in the $200-$400 range?? but I think the last one I saw was complete and given away (Erik.. any comments? ;-)

That'd be quite a bargain, unless it's completely dead and rusted. A working unit (including a working keyboard and memory) with working disk drive is going to push $1500 on Ebay easy. The keyboard repair kits are expensive. As with anything in the S-100 world value is mostly a function of operational status rather than cosmetics.

Yep, my SOL-20 (unit only - no monitor no disk drives) was in the $750 range at least 2 years ago.

Pics are uploading Here. I dunno what's up with that right-side view of the wood. Camera flash or fluorescent glare, because the wood is awesome!

Dang these things are REALLY nice with that wood!

Picked up from the original owner, has following boards:
(Bottom to top)
NorthStar MDC-A4 FDD controller
IMS 8K RAM board
Dynabyte 16kb RAM board
Dynabyte 16kb RAM board
IMS 8K RAM board

(2) External 5.25" FDD's wired together, to plug into the MDC-A4.
FDD's are in SOL-20 matching color cases, even paint texture matches.

Monitor is a 'Koyo' 9" B&W, with coaxial input, matching the coaxial output on the Sol-20.

I'll entertain offers on the whole shebang...
Gonna need that kb rebuild kit, though, but otherwise, powers on, gives the > prompt, and blinks the lights on the kb.
