I've checked a couple of the manuals and have done a search to find out what the dipswitch on the LCG card does. Does anyone know?

To clarify, I'm not talking about S3, it's the one on the top of the card at the back.

If it's a small, red two position dip-switch on the video card, then it changes the video out in some way. I used mine when I was trying to get my VLC to output on a LCD monitor. Had an intermittent picture before and then got a semi-decent picture on the LCD after I used the switch.

Be advised, I'm aware of multiple version of the video card.

That's the switch. It's working with my LCD monitor. I'll try flipping the switch to see what it does to the display.

My mouse seems to be defective. I'm going to pull out my 4000/96 and test it there to verify.
