In this video we take a look at the OEM carts available for the TI-74 Basicalc and TI-95 Procalc. TI produced RAM, ROM, EPROM, and FLASH carts. We’ll do a teardown on all of them and learn how to replace the battery in the RAM cart. Join us.

I have a 74 that I got from winning in a team programming contest back in the '80s (along with a particularly boring textbook on legal issues with computing) and never really did anything with it. So it was interesting to see what went in those modules that I never had. (I just had the blank.) At some point years later I found some kind of interface for it, probably a printer interface, and it's in my stuff somewhere wherever that thing ended up.

Anyhow, I've been trying to do some videos lately myself, so I understand the out of frame problem. It's hard when you only have one set of eyes and can't know what the camera is seeing. Maybe putting something in your field of vision could help. Perhaps you could try putting some little sticker dots on your mat just outside the frame? I'm also thinking maybe a frame made out of thin Lego plates might work, and it could be adjusted, and moved away when not needed.
