I am looking for the above to compile some old Modula 2 programs that I wrote some 30+ years ago.

I am aware of the 3.x version available here:

https://archive.org/details/top-speed-modula-2-v-3.01-ms-dos-already-installed-archive

Unfortunately, this one fails me completely, as I can't even find the "INOUT.DEF" standard module. Apparently, Modula II has changed dramatically in the later years??

Would appreciate any help to get this going again; my memory is blurry. It's too bad that I only archived my old programs, but not the compiler itself. Now it seems to be very difficult to find that version!

A few impressions - in 1994, we didn't have TensorFlow or similar frameworks, so we had to do it from scratch. This was an implementation of back propagation from the Rich & Knight AI book (2nd edition). The program's editor allowed you to specify the training data / IO patterns, then it would train the neural network of the desired topology, and after it was trained you could also use the editor to feed input to the net, testing its "MNIST" ;)classification robustness. Anyhow.

Very glad I found TopSpeed Modula 2 again! TopSpeed M2 was a great environment!
