WaveMate Bullet-XT 286

Found this XT-286 board inside a 5150 case from an old local computer shop. I suppose this would been considered a sleeper of sorts back in 1985. This and the Compuadd 810 are my primary XT systems. However I am also partial to the DTK Data-1000 with the Turbo switch on the front panel as well.

Your board is designed for a PC case, not an XT case. The slots are in different positions, and the keyboard connector as well. See [here].

There is an XT version of the BULLET-286 shown at [here]. You must have the PC version of the BULLET-286.

True, this was designed for IBM-PC case.

I suppose that is what makes this board unique.

Kudos to WaveMate for offering a version for PC users wishing to upgrade.
