Don't get me wrong poor people buy the cheapest crap they can, but stores that service those areas also have better stuff for people with more money. If you live in a rich area you only get the cheap crap and the trendy high end stuff they overcharge you for (they don't carry the middle stuff because that would cut into profits). The trendy stuff is made in much lower volume, so you have to pay extra to make it profitable.
