Windows 2.1 286 Greyscale/MonoChrome Only Issue

Hello,

In another thread: https://forum.vcfed.org/index.php?threads/windows-2-x-installation-disk-files.1245146/ I managed to install Windows 286 onto the computer, however on boot up, it only is in grey scale, I don't know what is wrong, considering the cga card I can confirm with games and other applications to be in colour, and the monitor I have also can display colour, is there something, I have to adjust or change to get colour? Let me know the process,

If it's CGA, then that's expected. CGA maximum resolution is 640x200 in 2 colors only. When you test in other applications, those are either using text,or 320x200 (such as games).

Graphics modes:

• 160×100 in 16 colors, chosen from a 16-color palette, utilizing a specific configuration of the 80x25 text mode.
• 320×200 in 4 colors, chosen from 3 fixed palettes, with high- and low-intensity variants, with color 1 chosen from a 16-color palette.
• 640×200 in 2 colors, one black, one chosen from a 16-color palette.
