winsock library for Windows 3.0?

I'm trying to connect a Windows 3.0 environment to internet. I have tried with Trumpet Winsock 1.0 and 3.0 but it seems that only work correctly on Windows 3.1 and 3.11.

Is there any winsock implementation for Windows 3.0?

Not the answer you are after. Although the system requirments for IE 3.02 and 2.0 state Windows 3.1 up you might be able to use their winsock. I suspect it's only usable on a 386 class machine up though.

What machine are you using Windows 3.0 on?

It is a 486 DX2. With Windows 3.1 there is no problem, but I wanted to do the same on Windows 3.0...

What about trying the stripped Wfw networking stuff http://users.telenet.be/mydotcom/library/network/wfwdos.htm and adding it's system.ini network entries to Win 3.0s system.ini?

It'd be interesting to see if it does work.
